St.Patricks Day in Ireland has got to be one of the busiest days on this island - and one most locals don't particularly care for. It's such a busy day in the city with people from all around the world coming to experience it. All the pubs are full from very early in the day and the parade is so busy - but so cool! The floats at the parade were so extravagant and elaborate it was unbelievable. The costumes as well, check out below to see for yourself. It was very impressive.

Following the parade we tried to find a pub in the city but unfortunately they all filled up so quickly that we headed out to Tallaght, where we go to school, and went to the Brass Fox - which has become a favourite of ours. We finished off the day with drinks and laughter. Overall, the Irish experience of St.Patricks Day was unique. If I am ever so blessed to experience it again I wouldn't go to the parade - as fabulous as it was - just because it's so busy and I would rather go to a small town outside of Dublin away from the tourist and spend the day among locals.

Fun at the Pub!

This was the sunset on my birthday, a few days following Paddy's Day. I just felt like it was too beautiful not to share
