Last week Jason took me up the Dublin mountains to Johnnie Fox's Pub. It is known as the highest pub in Ireland - I'm not entirely sure if that is true or not but it's what I'm told! Johnnie Fox's was very interesting and being an old pub - over 200 years old - had some neat pieces of history! It was decorated with many humorous signs and had a roaring fire in almost every room. We went there for lunch and had the seafood chowder, absolutely delicious loaded with tons seafood, and soda bread - I didn't get a picture of the chowder I was too excited to eat it!

Check out some of the signs from around the pub:

Following our lunch at the pub Jason took the scenic route back to Dublin as we rode through the mountains. It had just snowed in the mountains which causes issues here in Ireland - the littlest bit of snow shuts the city down I have been told. We are yet to get any snow down in the city but up in the mountains they had a decent amount and many parents were taking their kids from school early that afternoon to take them up to go sledding!
