My host family took me on a hike in Bray which is on the coast of Ireland just a little south of Dublin. The hill we hiked is called Bray Head we hiked to the cross at the top of the hill and it had this gorgeous view out over Dublin. Jason told me that on a clear day you can see to Belfast from here. The hike was very nice and when we returned to the beach front we got bags of fresh cut fries - or chips as they are called here. We also got some ice cream and the kids also got some candy floss. We sat on the wall looking out over the Irish Sea eating our chips being attacked by seagulls. It was so great to go out and explore a different part of this area of Ireland. On our way back to the house they took me by Sandycove where we saw a local swimming area in the sea and went up the James Joyce Tower. It was a great little space and I have no clue how there were actually people swimming in there! I look forward to continuing to explore this beautiful country in the coming months! Stay tuned!
